Clinic to Offer 3D/4D Ultrasounds at No Cost to Community on World Prematurity Day, November 17
Ultrasound Institute Medical Group joins March of Dimes to raise awareness and promote healthy pregnancies
PHOENIX, Arizona – On Monday, November 17, 2014, Ultrasound Institute Medical Group (UIMG), will offer 3D/4D ultrasounds to the community at no cost, to promote World Prematurity Day with the March of Dimes. Expectant mothers between 20-30 weeks gestation are invited to call for an appointment. The 15 minute, non-diagnostic appointment will include a live look at the baby as well as an opportunity to take home a picture of the baby. Volunteer expectant mothers must be receiving prenatal care and have a normal pregnancy. The ultrasounds will take place at the clinic, located at 4250 E. Camelback Road, Building K, suite 170 in Phoenix. Please call 602-354-4333 or email info@uimg.org to schedule an appointment.
Preterm birth, according to a 2006 Institute of Medicine report, is the leading cause of newborn death, and babies who survive an early birth often face the risk of lifelong health challenges, such as breathing problems, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and others.
